Are There More Dimensions Than We Realize?
Die-Mentions:The 12 Dimensions of God by James
Allen looks at life’s biggest question—what happens when we die? In this book, James
brings together ideas from science and the Bible in a way that is simple and
easy to follow. Without using hard words or complicated theories, he explains
how energy, faith, and human experience may all point to something beyond this
life.
A
Clear View of Energy and the Afterlife
James
begins with the idea that energy never disappears. According to science, energy
can’t be created or destroyed; it only changes form. He takes this idea and
applies it to the soul. If the soul is a kind of energy, it doesn’t end when
the body dies. Instead, it transforms and continues in a new way.
James
compares death to birth to make this idea easier to picture. A baby in the womb
cannot imagine the world outside, yet it is real. In the same way, humans
living in the third dimension may not be able to guess what comes next. Still,
it could be just as real as life itself.
James
also points out that the Bible speaks of “heavens” in the plural form. He
connects these references to the idea of higher dimensions. When Paul talks about
being caught up to the third heaven, James suggests this might mean a real,
unseen realm beyond what we know. He believes God may exist in the twelfth
dimension, a place so far beyond our world that we can’t fully sense it, but we
might catch small glimpses of it.
What
Near-Death Experiences Tell Us
One
of the book's strongest parts is its use of near-death experiences. These
stories come from people who were close to death and came back with clear
memories of what they felt and saw. Many say they were surrounded by love, met
people who had died before, and felt like a bright, caring presence welcomed
them. These stories come from people of many different backgrounds, yet they
often describe the same events.
James
uses these stories to support the idea that death is not the end. Instead, it
might be a doorway to something more. He links these stories to Scripture,
saying they match many of the Bible’s messages about peace, love, and life
beyond the grave.
The
book also explains why we don’t always see or understand these things. James
says it’s because our world is limited. We live in three dimensions, but higher
dimensions may exist. He uses the example of how a flat drawing cannot
understand a three-dimensional object. Just as a shape on paper cannot picture
a ball, we may not fully grasp the higher world where God lives. But that doesn’t
mean it isn’t real.
By
combining science and faith, James shows that the soul could be real energy
that continues its path after death. This energy, guided by God’s design, could
rise through different dimensions toward something eternal and loving. The book
encourages readers to think about life in a new way that brings together
knowledge and belief.
